The Hunger by Alma Katsu
Weeping Factor: 0 out of 5 Tears
*Donita Factor: 1 out of 5 Teapots
*Donita Factor: This factor will tell you if there are any steamy bits in the book. The scale will be measured by Teapots of Steam. 1 being just a little steam and 5 being… well…. you get the picture.
Summer Sisters by Judy Blume
This was my first Judy Blume book and I found it delightfully written.
Two girls grow up together and form an unbreakable friendship. But that friendship isn’t immune from the growing pains that make up our lives.

*Donita Factor: 2 out of 5 Teapots
Twice in a Blue Moon by Christina Lauren
I love Christina Lauren books. LOVE. This one was no exception. Though, it is not my favorite of Lauren’s tales.
The title really tells it all. Two people fall in love, hearts are broken, and then 14 years later they are forced to deal with the tragic tale of their love.

The Cold Dish by Craig Johnson
People have been telling me that I would love the TV series Longmire for years now. And then I learned that they are books. AND I LOVE THEM!
Walt Longmire is the cantankerous sheriff of a small county in Wyoming. The relatively quiet community is shaken by the murder of a young man who had happened to be involved in a rape case years prior.
Weeping Factor: 0 out of 5 Tears
Death Without Company by Craig Johnson
Book two of the Longmire Mystery books.
Johnson brings back our favorite sheriff and his host of wonderful characters to look into the simple death of a woman in assisted living. However, the previous sheriff of Absaroka County is convinced she was poisoned.
Weeping Factor: 0 out of 5 Tears
Kindness Goes Unpunished by Craig Johnson
Weeping Factor: 0 out of 5 Tears
Another Man’s Moccasins by Craig Johnson
Book four! Okay. One of the many things I love about these books is that they are decidedly not the old, tired western stories of dull gunfights, stampedes, and ridiculous prejudices. The characters WONDERFUL. The stories are thought-provoking and challenge a reader to think outside of the box. I cannot say enough good things about them. It’s a sure bet you will see more of the series in the coming months. I also think my dad would have really enjoyed this series.
Walt Longmire is reminded of his time in Vietnam when a young Vietnamese woman is found dead along the interstate and only one suspect seems likely. But crime isn’t as simple as it appears.
